Check the shield and teat before each use, especially once your child has teeth.\n\nCare and safety\nBefore first use, boil the pacifier for five minutes, making sure there is enough water. Then follow the manufacturer's instructions quoted below: wash with mild dishwashing liquid, sterilize, squeeze out any remaining water and leave to dry. Use methods intended for specific boxes only in accordance with the instructions for the accessory you have.\n\nUse as intended and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Check the product regularly; discontinue use if it is damaged.\n\nDirections for use: • Before first use, boil the pacifier for 5 minutes (make sure there is enough water in the pot to avoid damaging the pacifier). • To maintain hygiene, wash the pacifier with mild dishwashing liquid and sterilize it before each subsequent use. We recommend using a NUK sterilizer for disinfection. • After washing or sterilizing, squeeze any water remaining inside the pacifier out and leave it to dry. This also helps maintain hygiene. • Do not wash pacifiers in the dishwasher - cleaning agents may damage them. • Shelf life - 4 years from the date of manufacture (see stamp) - provided it is stored in a dry, clean place at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Do not leave it in a cold sterilizing solution for longer than recommended by the manufacturer, as this may weaken the material. • In rare cases, a child may put the entire pacifier in their mouth. If this happens, DO NOT PANIC! The pacifier's special design prevents the child from swallowing it, and the two holes in the shield allow them to breathe freely. Remove the pacifier from the child's mouth as gently as possible. • Never dip the pacifier in sweet substances or medicines, or lick it, as this may cause tooth decay in your child. • For hygiene and safety reasons, replace the pacifier after approximately 1–2 months of use.
